For the next thirty days I will introduce to you a music artist that I listen to and how I found them. I will tell you what songs got to me. Next I will post two songs. One that they're best known for and the second will be one of their newest songs. And you can take it from there.
To start us off today is...Matthew West. I can't necessarily say when I found him. I listen to Christian radio so, I often heard his music.
I didn't really hear what he sang because I was used to listening to his voice on the radio. Until one day; "The motions" came on the radio. I heard that song about a million times, but this time was different. I was going through a point in my life where I felt empty and I was doing the same thing over and over. Just going through the motions of life. After really listening to this song, I asked God to give me a passion and desire for him (God). My relationship with Christ began to deepen at that point. I am thankful for Mathew West's music of Challenging me and all of us as Christians!!
